The Philadelphia band, who were heading to the French capitol to perform at a gig with Kanye West tonight, reportedly came out of the accident with nothing more than minor injuries.
Blogging from the ambulance on the way to the hospital, Ahmir ‘?uestlove’ Thompson described what happened.
“In reality the crash was all of about 7 seconds....but to do a 360 on the highway and end up ramped up (the van that crashed into ours was UNDER our double decker bus) in the air....is....well... a frigging miracle.”
He added, “Dog we are soooo alive right now.”

The pair have reportedly arranged to meet on Monday 12 January to discuss the concept of the album, the follow-up to this year’s Home After Dark.

However, they will be giving Chinese Democracy a listen and have even given frontman Axl Rose some praise.
Speaking to the Houston Chronicle Metallica frontman James Hetfield said: “I’ll certainly listen to it [Chinese Democracy. But I haven’t lost sleep waiting for it.”
“I thought we took a long time to make an album,” joked the singer, “but you know he’s late for everything, so it makes total sense.”
Hetfield went on to say that Rose is an impressive performer.

Beck said that he has been collaborating with the French star in Los Angeles and in her native France on the follow-up to 2006’s 5:55.
“I was supposed to work on her last album but I couldn’t get over there,” Beck said on KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic. “Now I’m working on her follow-up record.”
Beck’s father, David Campbell, was responsible for the string arrangements on 5:55. Gainsbourg also collaborated with Jarvis Cocker (Pulp), Air and The Divine Comedy on the album.

Beck said that he has been collaborating with the French star in Los Angeles and in her native France on the follow-up to 2006’s 5:55.
“I was supposed to work on her last album but I couldn’t get over there,” Beck said on KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic. “Now I’m working on her follow-up record.”
Beck’s father, David Campbell, was responsible for the string arrangements on 5:55. Gainsbourg also collaborated with Jarvis Cocker (Pulp), Air and The Divine Comedy on the album.

“It’s all over the map,” Auerbach revealed to industry rag Billboard of his new disc, songs for which he says he’s been keeping for years. “I write songs for the Black Keys, so some of them sound like they could be Black Keys songs. But some songs are just acoustic guitar. There’s some real dark tunes and some psychedelic rumbas. It’s all that stuff I grew up playing – all those bluegrass harmonies. I experimented a little bit with instrumentation.”
Recorded at the singer’s home studio, Auerbach is keeping things in the family by inviting his relatives to collaborate, his dad writing the track “Whispered Words” and his uncle appearing on “Street Walkin’”.

Suggesting that a law needs to be passed to limit paparazzi, West added: “Let us not forget the paps killed Princess Diana. According to the New York Post despite UK and US retail websites listing the album as set for a December release, Relapse is likely to be released early next year.

Kevin Cogill, 27, will enter his guilty plea to one federal count of copyright infringement at a hearing on Monday 8 December, Craig Missakian, assistant U.S. attorney, told the Associated Press.
Cogill is accused of violating federal copyright laws by uploading nine of the veteran rockers’ tracks on his website this summer. He was arrested at his home in Los Angeles in August and was released on bail.
He originally entered a not-guilty plea in Los Angeles Federal Court last month, but has reportedly agreed to change his plea to guilty.
Details of the plea deal that Cogill reached with federal prosecutors have not been revealed. “I’m looking around and I realise, this guy having a tuque on has really great boots on, these sort of cowboy, motorcycle boots,” explained Winnipeg resident John Kiernan to American news channel CBC News. Kiernan lives in the house that was once the childhood home of the “Need And The Damage Done” singer. “And he was wearing really nice leather pants. And I realise I’m staring face-to-face with Bob Dylan.”
After spotting two men out front on his lawn, Kiernan invited Dylan into the house so he could check out Neil’s former bedroom. Kiernan says the “All Along The Watchtower” star asked lots of questions, and was in town with his manager, “taking the tour”.
